This Vetiveria zizaniodies was produced by Hydrodistillation in Haiti. Vetiver is known as the Oil of Tranquility. It was given this name because of the amazing emotional upliftment that is felt immediately upon inhaling this oil. The thick, gooey oil comes from roots. I would not recommend using this oil in the diffuser unless you know you love it so much you want vetiver goo in your diffuser for a long time. I have used it like this before, but be aware it doesn't easily wash out. If you have any problem getting the oil to drip (sometimes it's slow) you can warm up the bottle by rolling it in your hands, or some ladies perfer to use their bra. I prefer to remove the orifice dropper. The smell is a very deep base note somewhat similar to patchouli or spikenard. This oil is rich in sesquiterpenes which is wonderful for relieving anxiety, relaxation, to calm and soothe your nerves, and to sedate you.
