I'm ready to talk publically about my love affair with chamomile. It started early. I was prone to insomnia, the anxiety and sore muscles. I found chammomile to be a gentle flavor that induced sleep and acted like an anti-inflammatory. If I was having a rough night, I could have a few cups of tea and rest well soon. Later I met Roman Chamomile essential oil. It really smelled weird to me, but was wildly effective and expensive. Next I tried Roman Chamomile Hydrosol, it was very effective getting rid fo mosquito bites after being bit, but smelled very astringent. Then I discovered putting very small amounts of Roman Chamomile Hydrosol in lemon water with Sprite, and that went well for awhile. I love the way it knocked me out. German Chamomile has also been very useful in all these way but sweeter smelling. Next I'll have German Chamomile CO2 extract. The reviews I read say it tastes like honey. Or perhaps I'll infuse massage oil with some Roman Chamomile herb.
